Relatos salvajes y los Oscars

Finalmente, y como veníamos esperando, Relatos Salvajes fue seleccionada para competir en la categoría a Mejor Película en Habla Extranjera en la ceremonia número 87 de los premios de la Academia. La noticia se anunció hoy a la mañana desde Beverly Hills y pudo verse por la pantalla de TNT. La ceremonia se realizará el domingo 22 de febrero en el Teatro Dolby y será conducida por Neil Patrick Harris, conocido por su papel de Barney en “How I Met Your Mother”.

El film de Damián Szifrón deberá competir con diversas producciones de alrededor del mundo como Tangerines (Mandariinid – Estonia), Timbuktu (Mauritania), Ida (Polonia) y Leviathan (Leviafan – Rusia). De esta manera la película se convierte en la séptima argentina que logra entrar en las nominaciones, como ya lo han hecho La tregua, de Sergio Renán, en 1974; Camila, de María Luisa Bemberg, en 1984; La historia oficial, de Luis Puenzo en 1986, Tango, de Carlos Saura, en 1998;  El hijo de la novia, de Juan José Campanella, en 2001 y El secreto de sus ojos, también de Campanella en 2009.Recordemos que La historia Oficial y El secreto de sus Ojos fueron las únicas que consiguieron la dorada estatuilla. ¿Volverá Szifrón con el Oscar?. Les dejamos algunas de las nominaciones.
